Next Winnipeg Fine Art Fair takes place April 4, 5, 6 2025
Our debut event was the First Annual Winnipeg Fine Art Fair, which took place on April 12-13, 2024 at Red River Exhibition Place.
Vision Statement:
A juried event where local artists with diverse backgrounds and media have the opportunity to showcase their work and increase their visibility directly to the general public.
Mission Statement:
Our goal is to advocate for accessibility to visual artists, the community and wider audiences. By promoting creativity, learning and growth in the careers of artists, we hope to inspire passion and appreciation of the arts and culture in the public.
We are inclusive of all types of artist, in terms of media and background. By providing much needed exhibition space for emerging and established artists, we provide a pivotal moment and opportunity for an artist to understand the progression of their practice, explore their creativity, and connect with the local community.
Inclusion
As part of our commitment to inclusion and diversity we fund bursaries for artists. These $1000 dollar bursaries cover booth & display fees in full with the remainder being released to them to spend on the creation and development of their art. We are pleased to announce that we have funded four bursaries in our inaugural year.

Our goal is to advocate accessibility to visual art in all media (including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, fine craft etc.); for all artists, the community and wider audiences. By promoting creativity, learning and growth in the careers of artists, we hope to inspire passion and appreciation of arts and culture in the public.
We are inclusive of all types of artist, in terms of media and background. Our event will showcase a diversity of artists, including under-served and marginalized cultural minorities. As well as feature alternative art mediums alongside the well known.
By providing much needed exhibition space for emerging and established artists, we provide a pivotal moment and opportunity for an artist to understand the progression of their practice, express their creativity, and connect with the local community.
We allow artists to create art that says what they want to say, without the restrictions of the museum effect. We give creative freedom of artists by providing an open framework in which to experiment and test out new approaches to artistic practices. This allows for new ideas, perspectives and forms in art and culture to emerge. Additionally, having both emerging and established artists allows that intergenerational transfer of knowledge.
We are offering a welcoming place for community engagement, exploration, public critique, celebration, and connection of all that is fine art. We are a cultivating space that promotes and supports the arts as a cornerstone of community.
